Ocean Spray’s 75th Anniversary Campaign:
“Straight from the Bog”

To commemorate Ocean Spray’s 75th anniversary, we created a bold, multi-channel marketing campaign that celebrated the brand’s deep-rooted farming legacy and repositioned the humble cranberry as a modern-day superfruit. Titled “Straight from the Bog,” the campaign brought Ocean Spray’s agricultural heritage to life through a nationwide bog tour, humorous video content, and immersive storytelling. Our creative concept centered on two witty cranberry farmers exchanging banter while literally knee-deep in a bog, highlighting the fruit’s health benefits, fresh taste, and the authentic harvesting process behind every bottle and snack.

By infusing humor and character-driven storytelling, we disrupted the conventions of traditional fruit juice advertising and turned a staple holiday side dish into a year-round, culturally relevant icon. The campaign earned widespread media attention, including features on national morning shows, and achieved viral reach across social platforms.

The results? Tangible impact and industry recognition. “Straight from the Bog” was honored with two Effie Awards for marketing effectiveness and helped Ocean Spray redefine consumer perception of cranberries, elevating the brand from nostalgic to iconic.
